Did you know that Stress-related presenteeism and absenteeism are costing the Australian economy $14.81 billion a year!
It does not matter the age, sex or lifestyle of most people, the pressures of life, family and work can take a huge toll on everyone’s health and wellbeing. Stress is a major contributor to many health issues that people are experiencing and unfortunatley, most people are functioning in an ongoing stress response without actually recognising this. Others know they are affected by stress, but do not know how to get off the treadmill.
Most businesses will have staff members who are struggling with the impacts of stress and this can have an enormous affect on your business in many ways. Often, productivity can be low, mental clarity can be reduced, more sick days are required, lack of motivation because of exhaustion can occur…and concentration often suffers. And, added to this are the consequences of business owners or staff coming to work when sick, which is reported to be costing the Australian economy billions of dollars a year.
My presentations on Health and Wellbeing are tailored to each specific business, whether it be in a factory, in an office environment, or employees or clients within a not-for-profit organisation.
I meet with business owners or HR staff to understand the challenges and needs of the individual business or organisation and discuss the most suitable strategies that will create positive solutions and change within the work environment…and support improved health and wellbeing of employees.
I provide an an in-depth understanding of how stress impacts our body and easy strategies for people to incorporate in everyday life that will support them to reduce stress, feel more connected, improve metabolism and reduce digestive issues, improve their health and will help them to become excited about taking better care of themselves.
The presentations are always very interactive and include mindful eating exercises (which everyone enjoys), examples of how stress affects specific functions in our bodies and practical examples which provide people with so many light bulb moments.
How each person deals with stress will vary and the impact of stress is often increased by peoples thoughts, movements and eating habits. Where people choose to eat their meals, when they eat and what state they are in when they eat, can dramatically affect digestion and metabolism, resulting in further health conditions, including inflammation and weight issues.
I provide fascinating information around much of these topics which can have a very positive impact on people. When people tune in to what is happening in their body, it not only impacts and improves their health, but also the health of those around them…and is extremely powerful as it also highlights the importance of self love and self nurturing and the the power of thought.
Not-for Profit organisations

Richmond Valley Council Health & Wellbeing Day
Over 200 employees from Richmond Valley Council enjoyed Kerrie’s inspiring discussions on the Psychology of Eating. Each group of employees were provided with easy strategies to help reduce stress, increase metabolism and digestion and build a healthy and more enjoyable relationship with food…
Mentally and physically, healthy workplaces are good for people and business. Kerrie has taught us exactly that at our most recent Richmond Valley Council All Staff Get Together. She explained how your own breathing and nutrition affects your everyday wellbeing. Kerrie provided us with practical tips and techniques around mindfulness. It was great to learn how the food we eat can heal your body and prevent diseases.

Meet your Health and Wellbeing Presenter
Hi, my name is Kerrie Cox. I am a Mind Body Nutrition Coach, certified in the Psychology of Eating, and a Health and Wellbeing business coach. I trained at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, the world’s leading school in Nutritional Psychology, where I received my certification in Mind Body Nutrition and Dynamic Eating Psychology.
I have also trained with the Global Success Academy in Personality Profiling and Business Coaching.
In IPE’s internationally acclaimed program, I learned powerful cutting-edge tools and protocols that enable me to work with stress management, weight issues, body image challenges, overeating, binge eating, and a variety of nutrition related health concerns, such as digestion, fatigue, mood, immunity, plus much more. My work combines the powerful fields of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition.
The skills I use from my training are a combination of practical coaching techniques, clinical nutrition, body-centred practices, mind body science, and a positive and compassionate approach to challenges with stress, food and health.
